Proctor
The examination component of the Suite, available on the web for instructors and as a mobile app for students.
Secure examination environment
Screen pinning keeps the examination in the foreground. Leaving the app, losing focus or using split-screen is recorded as a violation, and the exam is submitted automatically once the limit is reached. A locked or sleeping device is never counted.
Reliable on unstable connections
Answers and flags are saved on the device and synchronized when the connection is restored.
Consent-based recording
For recorded examinations, students must give consent first. Video remains on the device until the instructor requests it.

Student information is used only for academic purposes. These are the controls built into the platform.
Consent before recording
Recording is used only in examinations that the instructor designates as recorded, and students must agree before it starts. Video remains on the student’s device until the instructor requests it.
Role-based access
Administrators, instructors and students see only the information relevant to their role. Every administrative change is recorded in the activity log.
Limited examination monitoring
Proctor detects leaving the app, losing focus and split-screen use. A locked or sleeping device is never counted as a violation.

Frequently asked questions
Who can use the Suite?
Administrators, instructors and students each have a dedicated view after signing in. Students join a class using an invite link or code from their instructor.
What counts as a violation during an exam?
Leaving the app, losing focus, exiting screen pinning or using split-screen. Your instructor sets the limit, and the examination is submitted automatically when it is reached. Locking your phone is not counted.
Does Proctor record my screen?
Only in examinations your instructor designates as recorded, and only with your consent. The video remains on your device until the instructor requests it.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. An iOS version is coming soon. In the meantime, please coordinate with your instructor about using an Android device on examination day.
What if I forget my password?
Select “Forgot password?” on the sign-in screen. If you cannot reset it, contact your instructor or administrator.
Which Android devices are supported?
Proctor requires the Android version listed under the app details in the Get the app section. Ask your instructor if you are unsure whether your device is compatible.
What happens if the app closes or my connection drops during an exam?
Your answers and flags are saved on your device and synchronized once the connection is restored. Reopen Proctor and inform your instructor right away, who will advise on how to proceed.
Is it safe to install the APK?
Yes, when it is downloaded from this page, which is the official source. Do not install copies of the app from other websites, chat groups or file-sharing links.
